Suraksha Yatra to converge today

Udupi, March 4, 2018: Many Hindu youth have been murdered. Law and order in the state has broken. To instill courage within people, BJP is organizing ‘Mangaluru Chalo-Jan Suraksha Yatra’ from Mar 3rd to 6th informed MP Shobha Karandlaje.

Various places in the state have witnessed the murder of many Hindu BJP workers. Officers are being assaulted. It is not possible for efficient officers to carry their duties. This has given rise to fear amongst the people. Therefore this yatra is being organized to rekindle courage amongst the people.

Addressing the media, she said,”Foot Marching and public meetings will be held from Mar 3rd along Ankola, Kumta, Mar 4th Honnavara, Bhatkala, Mar 5th Byndoor, Kundapura and Udupi. Union Minister of Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar will flag off the Yatra from Ankola in the presence of Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Ananth Kumar. Minister of Statistics and Programme Implementation, D. V. Sadananda Gowda will start off the Yatra from Kushalnagar in the presence Mysore MP Pratap Simha.

“Union government under the leadership of NDA has provided 6 crore new LPG connections of which 3 crore connections are free under ‘Ujwal Sheme’. 22, 637 families from Chikmagaluru and Udupi districts have received new connections under this scheme”, she added.

Shobha Karandlaje had flagged of ‘Ujwal Rath Yatra’ on 2nd Mar from the premises of BJP office. This Yatra will provide information to the general public about the ‘Ujwal Scheme’ of the Union government.

Shobha informed that the ‘Sakhi’ centre will be inaugurated at 2pm on Mar 5th by Menaka Gandhi. ‘Sakhi’ centre is centre dedicated to provide solace, treatment, temporary accommodation and help to little girls who have been harassed.
