Feb 15, 2018: Addressing media, Vidyadheesha Tirtha Swami of Paryaya Palimar Mutt said that Paryaya Palimar Mutt and Sri Raghavendra Saptaha Karyacharana Samiti, Mantralayam, will organise the silver jubilee celebrations,  Rajatotsava, of Sri Raghavendra Saptaha from February 16 to 22.

 Sri Raghavendra Swamy of Mantralayam had a special liking for Udupi. He had completed one ‘Chaturmasya Deeksha’ when in Udupi. He also wrote a commentary called ‘Prakasha’ on Sri Vyasarayaru’s work ‘Chandrika.’

Sri Raghavendra Swami’s pontification day and his birth anniversary fall in the same week. This is being celebrated as Sri Raghavendra Saptaha. The Saptaha has been celebrated since 1994.

The week-long Saptaha will include discourses on various subjects related to Sri Raghavendra Swami, apart from homas and cultural programmes daily. A major highlight will be a procession from Jodu Katte to Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple at 6.30 p.m. on February 18, the seer said.
