Woman files complaint against hubby for forcing her to convert

Kundapur, Feb 11, 2018: A woman  from Gujjadi village has lodged a complaint with the Gangolli Police alleging that her husband has assaulted her and  has also threatened to kill her and her children if they do not  convert to Islam.

The complainant, 51 year old Celine Buthello has alleged that her husband Valerian V Buthello whom she is married for 31 years had converted to Islam  two years ago and since then has been  pressurising her to follow his footsteps. He had even once destroyed an idol and a religious book in her house, she alleged and complained that her husband had remarried without divorcing her.

She has complained that  Valerian assaulted her while she was on way to the Gangolli Church to narrate her travails with the  priest.
