Petrol pump strike called off

Oct 12, 2017: The United Petroleum Front, which had called for a 24-hour shutdown of 54,000 petrol pumps across the country on October 13 demanding bringing auto fuel under GST and withdrawal of Marketing Discipline Guidelines of Oil Marketing Companies, has called off the stir. All India Petroleum Dealers Association president Ajay Bansal has said that the decision was taken after the Ministry promised to hear their grievances.
