School of Economics, Banking at Mangalore University on the cards, Dr Veerappa Moily

Mangaluru: Efforts to start School of Economics and Banking at Mangalore University very soon are progressing,  said former Union Minister, alumnus of Mangalore University Dr M Veerappa Moily speaking at a meeting of the alumni of the university held at Mangalore University College in Mangaluru on Sept 24,Sunday.

Various development projects are being implemented at Mangalore University College with the support of old students of the university. To support the educational intuitions and serve the society, old students shouldn’t forget educational institutions where they completed their education, Moily pointed out.

He suggested the university college authorities should gather information on all students who completed their education in University College on the occasion of its 150 anniversary celebrations. Every educational institution should register the name of the all students who come out of their respective college every year to support institution in the future, he added.
