Rs 20 crore for works in Bantwal, PWD release

Bantwal, July 19,2017:The Public Works Department has released Rs 20 crore towards road and bridge works in Bantwal.

District in-charge Minister and Bantwal MLA B Ramanath Rai said that Rs 3 crore has been sanctioned for the double-laning of the Kalladka Veerakambha state highway, Rs 1 crore for road widening in Kodapadavu, Rs 1.50 crore for the development of the Byrikatte-Kanyaya state highway, Rs 2.75 crore for the Karinja Cross, Pacchaje-Kolenjikodi and Vagga-Allipade road works, Rs 2 crore for the development of the Majjoni-Madakatta-Madaka-Karai road, Rs 95 lakh for Anantadi-Mangilapadavu road works, Rs 95 lakh for Vagga-Vamadapadavu road development, Rs 95 lakh for Bedagudde-Sunkadakatta-Anekallu road works, Rs 90 lakh for Budolipet Shera school-Banari road works, Rs 80 lakh for Amtadi-Kuriyala road development, Rs 50 lakh for Kaikamba-Parliya road, Rs 25 lakh for Kavalakatte-Bangerakere-Ramottu, Rs 20 lakh for Irni-Annalike road, Rs 1.50 crore for Amtur-Kehshavanagara road, Rs 85 lakh for Panemangaluru-Paturu road, Rs 30 lakh for bridge construction at Panchakodi near Horangala Mahalingeshwara Temple in Rayi village, Rs 25 lakh for Kallagudde-Kammaje-Kaveshwara-Padilubailu road, Rs 15 lakh for construction of bridge at Mittala Cross, Panjala- Kaje road, Rs 40 lakh for protective wall at Salettur-Padekunja road and Rs 80 lakh for bridge construction at Manchikokala-Kalkaru road. Other plans too are in pipeline.
