President of India: Dr Veerendra Heggade a candidate?

Mangaluru, June 16,2017: Reports indicate that with just over a month to go for the Presidential polls, Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade’s name has being doing the rounds for being a nominee to the President’s post.

When this was pointed out to him, Dr Heggade said that he was not aware of such information and that he could not leave the Manjunatha Peetha. The Presidential polls will be held on July 17.
