Strike by doctors today

Mangaluru, June 16, 2017: Reports say that the Mangaluru chapter of Indian Medical Association has supported the Statewide medical strike called by the Karnataka chapter of the association on June 16, Friday- today.

The strike is a form of protest against the State government’s move to amend Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act, 2007. However, emergency medical services will remain unaffected.
