Long-gone and looted, Ornaments worth Rs 5.59 Lakh sacked from House

Udupi,,May 26,2017: Reports state house in Nallur Village near Karkala ransacked by a gang who fled away with gold ornaments worth Rs 5.95 lakh and Rs 12,000 in cash during the early hours of Thursday.

Police Officials report that the gang broke into the house of K. Anand Shetty between 1:30 a.m and 5:30 a.m by unlocking the main door through a window of the house. A case has been filed at the Karkala Rural Police Station.
Investigation is still on, the police said.
