Awareness rally on water conservation

Udupi, Apr 21, 2017: Members of Gulshan, children’s wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, formed a human chain and participated in a rally to create awareness about water conservation in front of the Clock Tower in Udupi  on April 20, Thursday. The event was held as part of a State-wide campaign being organised by Gulshan till April 22.

Under the theme, Save water, save life, various activities, including drawing, mono acting, elocution, chart making, model making, and awareness programmes, were held during the campaign.

Meharunisa, convener of Gulshan, Navida Hussain Asadi, Sahida Riyaz, Nisar Ahmed and office-bearers of Udupi unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind were present.
