Uppinangadi, March 16: Ugadi indeed was Cool! Rain God has showered blessings on Uppinangadi and surrounding areas for sometime in the after noon on Tuesday, March 16. The unexpected shower took the town by storm. People were caught up in the rain unaware. In fact, the short rain has come as a blessing in the scorching summer for the people of Uppinangadi and neighborhoods.

 

Summer rains arrive always unexpected in Dakshina Kannada. It used to come during summer bringing down the scorching heat as a blessing in disguise. This year the temperature had touched 34’ Celsius and the entire district was facing unbearable heat.

It is expected to rain other parts of DK and Udupi in the coming days. At least, let us hope so!
