Karate championship Jan 21, 22; register today

Mangaluru, Jan 20, 2017: Addressing media in Mangaluru recently, ’All College Students’ Association’ announced that in association with ’Institute of Karate and Allied Arts’, will organise a state-level inter-school and inter-college Karate Championship at U Srinivasa Mallya Indoor Stadium in Mangaluru on January 21 and 22. (Saturday and Sunday)

All College Students’ Association State Sports secretary Pratik Poojary said that the championship will be held in three categories-Primary, High School and College. Under every category, there will be sub-categories of Kata and Kumite. Also, there are other categories based on the belt, age and body weight of the participants.

The registration will be done on January 20 (today-Friday) at U S Mallya Indoor Stadium from 9 am to 4 pm. The students need not have to be present during the registration. A representative from school may enroll the names of their students. All schools may send the names of their candidates. For details, contact Pratik Poojary at 9738367004.
