Man dies in road accident in city

Mangaluru, Jan 11, 2017: A man died when the van he was driving collided with a lorry in Kankanadi police station limits here on Tuesday.

The police gave the name of the deceased as Mohammed Shakeel Sharief (35), a native of Udupi district.

The accident occurred near the railway overbridge on NH 66 when the van heading towards the city collided with the oncoming lorry.

Kankanadi police have registered a case.
