Go-Kinkara Yatra in Udupi Sept 23 -27

Mangaluru, Sep 24, 2016: The Go-Kinkara Yatra of Ramachandrapur Mutt, for protection of local breed of cows, will travel in the district from September 23 to 27.

Speaking to media on Sept 23, Friday, Gunavanteshwara Bhat, district convener of the yatra organising committee, said the yatra would arrive Udupi from Uttara Kannada and a programme would be at Rajangana.  Vishwesha Tirtha Swami of Pejawar Mutt and Vishwaprasanna Tirtha, junior seer of the mutt, would participate.

It would pass through Neelavar, Brahmavar, Saligrama, Kundapur, Hebri and Karkala before entering Dakshina Kannada on Sept 27.
