Alva’s Educational Foundation organizes Kalotsava

Mangalore, March 8: Alva’s Educational Foundation organized Alva’s Kalotsava on March 7, Sunday, comprising around 27 performances from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the grounds of Canara High School, Dongarkery. The programme included everything from dance to martial arts. 

 

 

 

Dr. Alva inaugurated the Kalotsava and said that culture cannot be neglected because it has the signature of time embedded in it. He urged everybody to protect culture and foster it in their educational institutions. 

The Kalotsava comprised colorful dance programmes, which incorporated Odyssey, Bharatanatyam, as well as Manipuri forms of dance. North Eastern students presented a special martial arts programme. Over 1000 people witnessed the programme.
