St Aloysius College for ’Biodiversity workshop ’, July 23 to 25

Mangaluru, July 23, 2016: As per a news release received by ’Mangaloretoday.com’, St Aloysius College (Autonomous), in association with Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore is set to organise a three-day workshop on biodiversity and natural resources from July 23 to 25. Well known scientist from the Centre for Ecological Studies, IISc, Dr T V Ramachandra and his team are the resource persons. The need for conservation and scientific management of all natural resources in general and water in particular will be addressed during the workshop. Along with this, development of skills of experimentation, observation, documentation, data management, presentation and publication will be imparted to students. They will address the undergraduate students and faculty on methods of assessing village biodiversity, undertaking biodiversity studies of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.
