Programme in Memory of Indira Gandhi

Udupi, Nov 2: The 25th death anniversary of Indira Gandhi was celebrated in District Congress Bhavan, Udupi, on November 1. Mallikarjun Kharge, the union minister of labour and employment, said that Indira Gandhi had worked hard all her life for the weaker sections of society. 

Prominent citizens such as MLC Prathap Chandra Shetty; M A Gaphoor, the district congress president; Moiddin Bhava; Divakara Kundar, the block congress president; Veronica Cornelio; Sarasu D Bangera; Rita Mathias; Remidiya D’Souza; Manjunath Udyavara; K. K. Saralaya; Mallika Balakrishna; Keerthi Shetty; Devanand Shetty, Dinesh Puthran, B Hiriyanna, and many others were present on the occasion.
