Prohibitory orders extended

Suratkal, Feb 17: The prohibitory orders imposed on Suratkal for the past one week have been extended to 3 days in the wake of certain violent incidents. 

Police sources say that commercial establishments and shops will be permitted to close at 21:00 instead of 20:00 from Monday. 

As soon as the prohibitory orders were relaxed, a shocking incident of stabbing was reported in Suratkal. The victim Sandeep, who resides in Krishnapura, was attacked by miscreants on a bike when he was riding home.
