Gold jewels of value plundered from house

Manipal , Mar 29, 2015 : Thieves entered into a house at Herga village coming under Manipal police station limits and decamped with gold ornaments and cash.

According to the Manipal police, thieves broke into the house of Govinda Prabhu between 6 p.m. on March 27 and 8 a.m. on March 28 and plundered  gold valuables including a 15-gram ‘rudraksha male’, six-gram gold ring whose value is estimated at about Rs. 25,000, and Rs. 2,000 in cash.   Case has been registered and investigations were on.
