Nandini Point’ inaugurated at Bunts Hostel

Mangalore, Oct 24, 2014:  DK Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim inaugurated ’Nandini Point’ in the Somayaji Building at Bunts Hostel, Mangalore.  Speaking on the occasion, he said that at a time when there is concern over purity of milk, Nandini brand has retained its credibility among customers. SP S D Sharanappa said that the DKMUL has contributed a significant contribution in the white revolution started by KMF in Karnataka. DKMUL Managing Director Sathyanarayana said that Nandini point outlet will sell all the products of DKMUL such as milk, ghee, curds, paneer, lassi and byproducts such as Mysore Pak, Peda, Khova, Cashew burfi, Belgaum Kunda, Dharwad Peda, Rasogulla, ice cream and so on.

 Milk adulteration tests are conducted once in a month to create awareness among customers. Also, the help desk set up at the Nandini point will provide customers with necessary information. Dakshina Kannada Milk Union President Raviraj Hegde and others were present.
