Udupi, Oct 24, 2014 :  Speaking after inaugurating the office of State-level high school boys and girls sports meet in Udupi on October 22, he said that there is a need to instill confidence. The sports meet will be held at Udupi Girls PU College maidan from November 29 to December 1. The district has been supporting sports talent.  The department of urban development will release Rs 10 lakh for the sports meet.  SP Rajendra Prasad lamented that students now a days give importance to mobile games. It must be emphasised that outdoor games help in personality development and have many useful lessons in life.

MLA Pramod Madhwaraj unveiled the logo. CMC President P Yuvaraj, Taluk Panchayat President Sunitha Nayak, Deputy Commissioner SS Pattana Shetty among others were present .
