MP Shobha assures on vital matters

Mangalore, Sep 28,2014: BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje has said that the police department is inactive after the appointment of Kempaiah to the Home department.

“Home Minister A J George has no control over the law and order of the State,” Shobha Karandlaje alleged.

Speaking to media at Mangalore International Airport, she said that she will impress upon the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to reduce the CRZ limits from 200 metres to 50 metres and to convert Shiradi Ghat stretch to a good National high way.

As the Panambur port has become overcrowded in these days and to ease the pressure on the port, a letter was written to Union Minister Nithin Gadkari on building a port at Udupi. Following this, a survey for Angarakatte port has been completed one month ago, said Shobha Karandlaje.
