Man sexually assaults niece, detained

Mangalore, Sep 21,2014:  A minor was sexually assaulted by her father’s relative, at Adyapadi in Bajpe. The accused has been arrested and produced before the court. The girl’s uncle, a tailor by profession was close to the 11 year-old niece. He had taken the girl to his house and sexually assaulted her three days ago.

  The man had pressured the girl not to reveal the issue to anyone at home. When her class teacher asked her the reason for unusual silence, she revealed the episode to the teacher. The teacher in turn informed authorities, and the girl was counseled revealing the facts.  The accused has confesses the crime to the police during investigation.
