Flesh trade racket busted

Udupi, Sep 18, 2014: The Manipal police under the guidance of Karkala ASP Annamalai raided a lodge in Manipal and took ten persons to custody for involving in prostitution.  Following a complaint on flesh trade activities in the lodge, the police conducted a raid and took seven men and three women to custody. Out of three women, one is from West Bengal and two are from Bangalore.


The seven accused men are Sachin alias Santhosh Kumar, aged 34 from Brahmavar, Jafer Syed (39) from Sagar, Samshudhhin (39) from Sagar, N V Krishna from Manipal, Bhoja from Udupi, Anil Kumar from Chikmagalur and Sriraj from Manipal. A case has been registered in Manipal  police station.
