Thinagalaya memorial programme on Aug 30

Mangalore, Aug 29, 2014: Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy will organise ‘Madhava ThingalayaruShatamanada Nenapu’ at the Academy Office in Lalbagh, Mangalore on August 30 at 3 pm, to commemorate the birth anniversary of litterateur and theatre artiste late Madhava Thinagalaya, according to a press release.

Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy President M Janaki Brahmavar will preside over the function.  Sri Govindadas College (Suratkal) Kannada department Head Prof Krishnamurthy P will speak on Thingalaya.  Sahitya Academy former President M K Seetharam Kulal will be the chief guest on the occasion.  A feature based in the life and achievements of Madhava Thingalaya will be enacted by the students of Govidadas College, in the direction of Jagan Pawar Bekal, the release added.
