Rash over taking by bus casuses death of one awaiting at Bendoorwell stop

Mangalore, Aug 28, 2014: As per a report,   Royston of Mangalore University, travelling to  Konaje, witnessed  bus No 51 trying to over take lost control killing a person at Bendoorwell bus stop here on Thursday August 28, earlier today.

The identity of the deceased is not yet known.  Eyewitnesses said that number 51 bus coming from Konaje, in a bid to overtake another bus, ran over the bus stop and hit the person who was standing there, killing him on the spot.. It is reported that two others at least were injured. Full report is yet to be received.

Police had a very difficult task controlling huge crowd at the spot.  Kadri police inspector T D Nagaraj arrived at the spot and registered a case.
