2 die in road accidents

Udupi, Aug 26, 2014 : Two persons were killed in two separate accidents in Udupi district on Aug 24.

1. A woman was killed when a two-wheeler on which she was travelling,  was knocked down by a lorry, at Paduthonse in Malpe. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Bharathi. A case has been registered at Malpe police station.

2. In another incident, a person was killed after the car which he was driving was hit by a private bus at Shivapura in Hebri. The deceased has been identified as Sadananda Nayak. He was driving towards Udupi from Hebri, while the private bus was coming in the opposite direction.
