5-day fruit and flower exhibition from Feb 19

Mangalore, Jan 31: The district administration, the department of horticulture, the DK zilla panchayat, Mangalore City Corporation, and Siri Horticulture Association will jointly organize a 5-day flower and fruit exhibition in Kadri Park from Feb 19. 

The event will include a variety of gardening competitions for individuals, semi government and government organizations, students, and others. Competitions such as flower rangoli, bonsai and ikebana, stamp and coin collection, horticulture handicrafts, vegetable carving, flower arrangement, and so on will be organized during these 5 days. 

Farmers from all over Dakshina Kannada will display fruits and vegetables grown by them. Entrepreneurs, private nurseries, as well as stall owners are invited to participate in the event.
