Student projects of VCET get govt grants

Mangalore, April 3, 2014(DHNS): The Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) recently approved three student project proposals from Vivekananda College of Engineering and Technology, Puttur for sponsorship under its Student Project Program of 37th series.

This will provide support for BE Projects that are relevant to society and help in development of technologies useful to the society by students.

The projects that got approval are ‘Automated video shot boundary detection and key frame extraction using gaper movements’, ‘Automated desence system’ and ‘Fabrication of domestic plastic waste granulating machine’.
