DYFI organizes 9th Mangalore City Convention

Mangalore, Jan 11: C Basavalingayya, the eminent stage artist, inaugurated the 9th Mangalore City Convention, which was organized by Indian Democratic Youth Federation (DYFI).





In his inaugural speech, he said that the youth play a prominent role in eradicating discrimination based on caste, religious fanaticism, communalism, and other social evils from the society. He urged for transparency in the country’s political system. 

L T Suvarna, the president of DYFI Mangalore, presided over the programme. N L Bharathraj, the president of DYFI Karnataka; Muneer Katipalla, the president of DYFI DK District; Dayananda Shetty, the district secretary; Sunil Kumar Bajal, the former president of DYFI Karnataka; and Prashanth Achar, the president of SFI DK District, were the other dignitaries on the dais. 

Ramesh Kumar made the welcome speech; and Vice President B K Imthiyaz expressed gratitude.
