Puttige Mutt organizes 2-day workshop on world peace

Udupi, Jan 2: Paryaya Puttige Mutt is organizing a 2-day workshop “Chintana Chilume” dealing with world peace on Jan 2-3 at Rajangana Auditorium of Krishna Mutt, Udupi. 

Paryaya Puttige Seer Sugunendratirtha Swamiji told journalists that Shri Tridandi Srimannarayan Ramanuja Chinnajeeyar Mahaswami from Vijayawada will inaugurate the 2-day workshop. Siddarudda Mutt Seer Shri Shivakumar Maharudra Swamiji and Belimath Samsthana Bangalore Seer Shri Shivanubhava Charumurthy Shivarudra Swamiji will preside over the function. 

The Seer informed press people that the purpose of the workshop was to eliminate the hatred that was engulfing the world and to instill into it the message of peace. 

The Paryaya Puttige Seer also said that the Mangala Mahatotsava will be organized from Jan 11- 17. The Saptharathotsava, a car festival that involves the simultaneous pulling of 7 chariots, will be held at the end of the Mangala Mahotsava. The event will be inaugurated by Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji on Jan 11, 2010. The seer also informed that Shri Shri Ravishankar Guruji will visit the Sri Krishna Temple on Jan 7.
