M’lore - Thiruvananthapuram express extended to Nagercoil: E Ahmed

Mangalore, Dec 30: E Ahmed, the union minister of state for railways, said that the Tirunelveli - Hapa Express will be shortly inaugurated and that the Mangalore - Thiruvananthapuram Express will be extended to Nagercoil. 

The minister was participating in a few functions in Kayalpattinum in Tuticorin on Dec 29, Tuesday. When he stopped at Tirunelveli railway station, he informed reporters that the UPA government plans to operate 71 new trains and that this project is being implemented in phases.
