Shirooru Seer to be honored in Mangalore

Mangalore, Dec 30: Shri Shirooru Seer Shri Lakshmivaratheertha will be honored in the Mangalore Town Hall on Dec 31, Thursday. 

The felicitation ceremony will include a procession, which will commence at Sharavu Shri Mahaganapathi Temple at 9:30 a.m. The procession will comprise tableaus, bhajan teams, yakshagana artists, chende teams, dolls, and many more features that will be of great interest to connoisseurs of art. 

Mayor M Shankar Bhat will preside over the programme, which will begin at 10:30 a.m. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, District-in-charge Minister Krishna J Palemar, and many others will participate in the programme. 

On behalf of the felicitation committee, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura said that the devotees will be permitted to offer flowers and garlands to the Swamiji.
