Dr APJ Abdul Kalam to participate in World Astrology Conference

Subramanya,Dec 26: Shree Shanmukha Jyotisha Pratishtana will organize the World Astrology Conference at Shree Kukke Subrahmanya Kshetra on April 9 - 11, 2010. The renowned scientist Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, the former president of India, and many other eminent personalities will participate in this conference.

In a press release, Shyam Prasad Shastri Sajankala, the chief convener of the conference, said that Shree Vidyaprasannateertha Swamiji of Subrahmanya Mutt will be the honorary president of the event. 

The conference will comprise debates on the scientific as well as spiritual base on which astrology stands. The chief topic discussed with the effects of planets on the past, future, and present condition of Earth. The necessity of drawing horoscopes and issues related to prashna shastra will also be discussed. Specific conclusions will be drawn during this conference.
