Kasargod Christians celebrate Christmas with joy and devotion

Kasargod, Dec 26: The Christian community of Kasargod conveyed the message of peace, love, and unity through their joyful celebration of Christmas. On Christmas Day, the members of the Christian community commemorate the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ on the cross. 

Festive masses and prayer sessions were celebrated in Churches and prayer halls in Bela, Naarampady, Kayyar, Ukkinadka, Varkady, Manjeshwar, Pavoor, Meeyapadavu, Kasargod, Talapady, Kumble, and other places. 

Besides prayer sessions, rallies and conventions were also organized. People decorated their houses, constructed cribs, adorned the Christmas tree, and greeted each other joyfully. Members of the Christian community distributed cakes and other delicacies.
