Mangalore celebrates Christmas

Mangalore, Dec 26: The Christian community of Dakshina Kannada celebrated Christmas with great devotion on Dec 25, Friday. 

Fr. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, the bishop of Mangalore Diocese, celebrated Holy Mass in Rosario Cathedral Church, Mangalore. 

He prayed for the peace and happiness of the nation. Fr. Staney Govious, the parish priest of Rosario was one of the concelebrants. 

Special festive masses were celebrated in churches throughout DK. Every church and Christian home was brightly decorated with lights of different colors, stars, and cribs.
