CSI Kanthi Church celebrates 125th anniversary

Mangalore, Dec 17: The CSI Kanthi Church in Jeppu and the Post Centenary Silver Jubilee Committee will jointly celebrate the 125th anniversary of the church on the church grounds on Dec 20, Sunday, at 4 p.m. 

At a press conference organized at the Press Club on Dec 17, Wednesday, Fr Winfred J Amanna, the president of the Post Centenary Silver Jubilee Committee, said that Dr. B M Hedge, the former vice chancellor of Mahe, will be the chief guest and that Fr. J S Sadananda, the bishop of CSI - KSD will preside over the programme. 

Cricket matches for the male members of the CSI Church and throw ball matches for its women members will be organized at the Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district level. 

W N Gozar, the vice president; Herald Soans, the secretary; Stephen Lukas Bangera, the treasurer; and Ashok Putani were present at the press meet.
