NITK hosts 39th ISTE Annual Convention

Mangalore, Dec 17: NITK will host the 39th ISTE Annual Convention and National Conference with the title “Managing Technical Education for Leveraging Innovation and Entrepreneurship” in its Silver Jubilee Auditorium on Dec 18, Friday. Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi, and National Institute of Technology Karnataka will jointly organize this event. 

Dr. Lueny Morell, the president of the International Federation of Engineering Educational Societies, USA, will inaugurate the conference. 

Dr. Stanislaus Francis D’Souza, scientist and head of the Nucelar Agriculture and Biotechnology Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay, Mumbai, will release the proceedings of the conference. 

Dr. Hans Hoyer, the secretary general of the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies, USA, and Prof R S Nirjar, the former president of ISTE, New Delhi, will be the chief guests. 

Prof N R Shetty, the president of ISTE, New Delhi, will preside over the function.
