Milagres College Organizes Varsity Level Science Fest

Milagres College Kallianpur organized a university-level Science fest, “Scienscio – 09” along with the Fr D’Cruz memorial lecture on October 16, Friday. 

Dr. Santhosh C, the director of the Center for Molecular Physics in Manipal University, inaugurated the programme. Fr. Fred Mascarenhas, the principal of Milagres College, presided over the function. Ms. Rashmi, the secretary of the Science Association, welcomed the gathering. Mr. Ashok Shenoy, the president of the Science Association, proposed the vote of thanks. Prof Archana Dabade, the convener of the programme, introduced the theme of the science fest as well as the chief guest. 

The event comprised competitions, seminars, collages, poster writing, fiction writing, and a quiz on astronomy and astrophysics. 

MGM College Udupi bagged the Overall Championship, while Vivekananda College Puttur and Alva’s College Moodubidri won the Fr G L D Cruz Seminar competitions.
