Tulunad’s Pride Kadri Kambala to be held on Dec 6

Mangalore, Dec 2: The historical sport of Tulunad “Kadri Kambala” will be organized at Kadri Kambala on Dec 6, Sunday, at 1 p.m. in the presence of Rajayogi Sri Sandyanath of Kadri Sri Yogeeshwara Mutt. A variety of traditional sport competitions such as “Kesaru Gadde Ota,” tug of war, and “Thappangayi” will be organized during this event. 

B Nagraj Shetty, the president of Kambala Committee said at the press club on Dec 2 that the organizers of this event are Kalkura Foundation, Sri Ganesh Shipping Agencies, Land Links, and Lion’s Club of Mangalore-Kodialbail. 

Kadri Navneeth Shetty  the convener of Kadri Kambala Committee said that the “Gutthu Award,” instituted in memory of the late Balakrishna Shetty, will be conferred on Vishwantha Kadri Kambala in the presence of Dr B Nishakanth Shetty of Bangalore and Ekkaru Bhaskar Shetty during this event. 

Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, the working president, and Dinesh Gollarakeri, general secretary of Kalkura Foundation were present.
