Schools will be closed for World Tulu Convention

Mangalore, Nov 25: DDPI C Chame Gowda announced holidays for all schools in Belthangady on December 10, 11, and 12 so that the children can attend the World Tulu Convention in Ujire. The schools in other districts will get one holiday. 

The KDP also decided that Nov 27 would be the holiday for Bakrid instead of Nov 28. 

J Krishna Palemar also requested the PU Education Department to postpone the PU examinations, which were otherwise to be held on December 8 - 16.
