Fr. Richard Rego will speak at community radio workshop

Mangalore, Nov 25: Fr. Richard Rego of Radio Sarang, Mangalore will be one of the speakers at a 2-day workshop on Community Radio (CR), which will be organized at the Kamla Raheja Institute of Architecture and Environmental Study in Mumbai by Comet Media Foundation in collaboration with the Media Information and Communication Centre of India, Centre for the Advancement of Philanthropy, and Frederich Ebert Stiftung on Nov 26. 

The workshop “Community Radio - Tuning Into Diversity” will give participants the opportunity to listen to speakers who are already running CR stations as well as technical experts. 

Besides Fr. Richard Rego of Sarang Radio, Aditheshwar Shetho of Gram Vaani, IIT Delhi; Amol Goje of Vasundhara Vahini Community Radio, Baramati (Maharashtra); Sajan Veniyoor of Community Radio Forum, a pan-India network; and many others will be speaking at the workshop.
