CET 2010 to be held on April 28 – 29, 2010

Mangalore, Nov 24: Aravind Limbavalli, the higher education minister, announced that CET 2010 will be held on April 28 - 29, 2010. 

The education department is finally keeping its promise of setting up more CET counselling centres. Limbavalli said: “Three more counselling centres will be set up in Mangalore, Davanagere, and Shimoga.” 

So far, CET counselling was being held in Hubli, Bangalore, and Gulbarga. The Karnataka Examinations Authority had set up these additional counselling centres to make life easier for students who had to travel all the way to Bangalore for CET counselling. 

Limbavalli said that all the CET coaching centres established through EduSat a month ago had become quite popular. There are now 102 such coaching centres, with 50 more regions demanding such centres.
