Hindu group organizes religious awareness meet

Mangalore, Nov 19: The Hindu Jana Jagrithi Samithi has organized a Hindu religious awareness meet on Nov 21 at 10 a.m. in Shree Durga Parameshwari Temple, Arasinamakki in Belthangady. 

Mr. Mohan Gowda, the spokesman of Hindu Jana Jagrithi Samithi, spoke to press persons on Thursday, and said: “Our country is facing innumerable problems that can be labeled Naxalism, Terrorism, Conversion, prohibition of pro-Hindu organizations, wrecking statues in temples, ridiculing of Hindu deities via dramas, cinemas, and advertisements, and many more. The Hindu Jana Jagrithi Samithi is collaborating with other like-minded organizations to create awareness in the minds of the public on issues such as nation fortification, religion, and social service.” 

Rama Bhat, the district coordinator of the Samithi; Vijay Kumar; and Ramesh Nayak were also present at the press conference.
