‘Tulunaddha Gobbulen Gobberegundu’ at Mangala Stadium

Mangalore Nov 19: The even ‘Tulunaddha Gobbulen Gobberegundu’ as a part of World Tulu Convention will be held at Mangala Stadium, Mangalore on Sunday November 22 at 9 am.

V Ponnuraj, deputy commissioner will inaugurate the event, while Ajit Kumar Rai Malady will preside over the function.
 
Harikrishna Punaroor, former president, Raghunath Shet, T Sampath Kumar, Padmanabha Shetty and Wrestler M Sankappa Shetty will participate as the chief guest.
 
‘The games like lagori, kuttidonne for men and kallata, jiblee, berchand, lagori, tonka for women and other games like channamane, kottalinge cricket will be open for all. The winners of the games will later participate at the district level sports’, said Prashant Gatti Amembal, president, Taluk committee, speaking at the Press Club on Thursday November 19.
 
Mayor Shankar Bhat, will preside at the valedictory function to be held at 5 pm. MLA Yogish Bhat, Commissioner Vijay Prakash, Sadananda Shetty, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura and Ratnakar Jain will participate as the chief guest.
