“Understanding Self” - guidance camp for teens at KMC Attavar

Mangalore, Nov 17: Hidaya Foundation, women’s wing, organized a camp for teenagers with the purpose of guiding them on matters of education, challenges of the modern world, education, health, and so on at the Shushrutha Hall of KMC Attavar. 

Dr Urmila Khadilkar, the associate dean of KMC, inaugurated this guidance camp, which was titled “Understanding Self.” In her inaugural speech, she stressed on the need for enhancing awareness about a number of issues. 

Secretary of Hidaya Foundation Khurshid Haroon informed the audience about the organization’s aims and objectives. 

The resource persons were Dr. Nina Ajith Mahale, Seemanthini T S, and Dr Elizabeth Daniel. 

Dr. Ravish Thunga, the psychiatrist, made the welcome speech; and Dr Pooja Rajashekaran expressed gratitude. 

The Hidaya Foundation has distributed free medical claim policies to 69 poor families. It has also organized free health check-up programmes in rural areas.
