Dispute in KMF, Reddy says he wants his post

Mangalore, Nov 17: The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) is now the seat of a dispute. G Somashekar Reddy, brother of ministers G Karunakara Reddy and G Janardhana Reddy, wants to continue as the chairman of KMF; but D V Sadananda Gowda, BJP state president, wants him to quit so that he can take over. 

On Nov 16, Monday, Reddy spoke to journalists are said that, while he was not interested in becoming a minister, he would like to continue as the chairman of KMF. At the time of his election to the post of KMF Chairman, Reddy was reported to have said that his brothers had a significant role to play in winning the KMF elections in which BJP gained the top number of seats.

When Reddy was elected to this post, it was made clear to him that he would have to step down after 3 months. Reddy told journalists that, although his time was up, he would still like to continue as the chairman of KMF. Reddy had arrived in Mangalore to release Nandini’s jumbo curds packet. 

Gowda, however, informed media persons that Reddy has to step down or he would be requested to do so.
