Bantara Sangha Organizes Live Musical Performance by Star Singers

Mangalore, Nov 16: Bunt’s Association, Suratkal, in collaboration with Namma TV organized “Varshadhare,” a musical event on Nov 15, Sunday. Live performance was given by renowned singers of the Kannada film industry such as Gangothri Rangaswamy, Ajay Warrier, Sunitha, Supriya Acharya, K S Surekha, and Divya Raghavan. Old and popular numbers were selected for this live performance. Varsha, actress and anchor, was the centerpiece of this musical event.

Earlier, J Krishna Palemar, the minister for ports and inland water transport inaugurated the Bantara Sangha Library in Suratkal and made an inaugural speech in which he said, “The Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation (KFDC) has been established to strive for the welfare of local fishermen. The fishermen’s union leader is the same person as the president of KFDC. Therefore, any feelings of animosity between the KFDC and the local fishermen must be discarded.”

Palemar also said that Mangalore will soon have 24 hours of water supply and that all development work related to this is in progress. He also said that even rural roads would be soon concretized. 

M Devananda Shetty, the president of Bunts Association, Surathkal; MP Nalin Kumar Kateel; Ajit Kumar Rai; and many others were present at the inaugural.
