Corporation Card Launches Gift Card

The Corporation Bank recently lunched CorpBank Visa Gift Card as per the guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India recently and in association with VISA. The bank is among the first of India’s leading public sector banks to launch a gift card.

Shri G. C. Chaturvedi, Additional Secretary (FS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India, formally launched the new gift card in New Delhi on Tuesday. Shri J. M. Garg, the chairman and managing director of Corporation Bank presided over the inauguration ceremony. 

Shri Asit Pal, the executive director of the bank; Shri Uttam Nayak, the country manager, South Asia, VISA; Shri A. Mohan Rao, Shri B. R. Bhat, and Shri H. S. Saini, general managers of the bank, were present at the inaugural programme. 

CorpBank VISA Gift Card, a prepaid plastic card, is an ideal gift to give instead of cash, gift vouchers, and other gift articles. Since it functions like a debit card, the card holder can use it to purchase any item required or dine in selected restaurants. The card can be used all over the India in 5 lakh VISA Merchant locations. Card holders can use it at multiple outlets and as many times as they wish till its amount is exhausted. The card is valid for one year.
