Vishwa Vidya Ayurvedashram Offers Diabetes Treatment on Discount

Mangalore, Nov 14: Vishwa Vidya Ayurvedashram is celebrating World Diabetes Day by organizing “Care and Cure Madhumeha Camp” in Vamajoor from Nov 14 - 20. 

Dr Srilatha Shetty, the medical director of Vishwa Vaidya Ayurvedashrama said that the participants of the camp will be offered treatment comprising ayurvedic pedicure, obesity control, special massages for diabetic neuropathy, panchakarma, and so on at a discount of 50 percent. Participants can also avail of free diet counselling and consultation. 

In a press release, Ayurvedashram said that the ancient Ayurvedic texts contain sure ways to heal, prevent, and cure diabetes. Ayurvedic methods of treating diabetes include pathya apathya, panchakarma therapies, ritucharya, and dinacharya. In Ayurveda, diabetes is chiefly controlling by boosting the body’s immune system. Ayurvedic methods of treating diabetes varies from person to person as per the person’s prakruthi, dosha, dooshya, sathwa, saathmya, desha, bala, kaala, and anala. Ayurvedic treatment combined with Yoga, Naadha therapy, Pranayama, Mudhra therapy, Reiki, and acupressure can work wonders on the diabetic individual.
